ABOUT US
Who I AM
Why you can count on our service-
Experience is the best teacher. I am an early years Consultant and trainer.
I have over 25 years of experience within the early year’s sector, involved in different roles, with my experience being derived mainly from hands on work. Starting as a nursery worker many years ago, to a Nursery Nurse, Deputy head of the centre and Centre head, working and running a setting where a child centre approach was adopted and involving parents, I developed a crucial part of my experience and professional relationships whilst additionally building effective partnerships with staff and outside professional agencies.
I worked for the Early Years Alliance as an early years specialist, supporting PVI settings with a focus on enabling a quality environment for all service users and helping prepare the PVI settings for OFSTED and improving the outcomes of the inspections.
As a tutor, trainer and assessor for beginners in the early years profession, nursery staffs and mangers of settings, I am very passionate about professionalism and ensuring early years educators value themselves and continue to develop in line with their job specification through ongoing CPD.
To see that they are genuine in their contribution to children and families, I work by motivating them as someone that has done it from a basic learning stage through play to NNEB and eventually a BA (HONS) in Early Childhood with several years of experience.
I am an approved EARLY YEARS TRAINER, Mental Health First Aid Nuro Instructor and specialist in staffs wellbeing and mental health beyond the early year’s organization.
I educate parents / carers on a programme called The Enabling Environment to ensure the needs of their children are met, regardless of the limitations they face as individuals. I believe it is a career that is worth its focus and commitment as we continue to raise the worlds future children globally.
